IMG_2392Cris Law, a natural born male Alto who combines sounds from the Ancient past with those of the digital era to form a unique, hybrid mix unlike any other. Classically trained, Law creates a crossover musical experience by infusing pop with early music (Renaissance folklore & Baroque opera) genres. Law has toured the U.S. with the Boston Pops, Andrea Bocelli, and recently completed his first ever European Solo Concert Tour(London, Paris, Turin). A highlight of appearance includes the Corona del mar Baroque Festival, the OC Performing Arts Center, the Hollywood Bowl and Seattle Baroque Opera. Law works extensively as a performer, voice teacher/coach, accompanist and music director throughout Southern California. He is the artistic director of the Long Beach Community Chamber Singers. In Southern California, Cris Law has worked and continue to work extensively as a substitute and guest music director, soloist, section leader, and accompanist for various church services and in various community/ educational settings. Cris Law started out doing pop and traditional Christian music during his childhood and teens. Then everything changes when he started formal classical vocal training back in 1999. Since then, Cris has devoted himself into all things vocal. Law’s pursuit in vocal arts education has always been and will continue to be essential. From getting coachings and lessons nation wide, attending numerous voice related masterclasses, workshops, summer programs, sitting in and accompanying for various coachings/ lessons for all kinds of voice teachers to continuously being in school for vocal performance (CSUF, USC, CGU).  It is through performing, teaching and collaborating that Law realizes the importance of a solidified vocal technique means that you can apply your voice to any style and any genre.
